In a Pinch?

One of my favorite foods during the past six months of chemo treatment has been my weekly supply of Pinch dumplings. These dumplings stand out from any other restaurant or frozen dumpling I have ever eaten.

The wrapper is light. The fillings are fresh and tasty, and their sauce is outstanding. They have the right combo of protein and a bit of starch that is easily digestible, a necessary component of chemo and a seriously altered GI tract.

We get ours at the Central Farm Markets¬†at Bethesda (during the winter) and the Pike Central Farm Market during the rest of the year. These farmers markets boast outstanding local food, and we’ve come to enjoy our weekend shopping trips.

I’m thankful to Pinch for helping me get through my chemo and giving me something delicious to eat.
